About The Dragon Wagon

The Dragon Wagon was initially a far-fetched dream and a fun idea created from idle chatter while on the road. It has taken a lot of work and there is a lot more to go.
But it's all coming together as a mobile food wagon with the best, freshest, home made food this free-range creative can make.

The Wagon

The Dragon Wagon Food Cart is owned, operated, dreamed up, refurbished, and driven by Lloyd Metcalf. A Maine native with a love of food, Dungeons, Dragons, and creative flow. It is a piece of Lloyd Metcalf Inc. that operates primarily in southern and western Maine.

The Food

I want the food to represent not just myself but the adventurous worlds we create while playing our favorite fantasy games. Food should always be prepared fresh, simply, and full of flavor. When local food comes available, The wagon embraces it and offers it up to share flavors in a new way. Food deserves to be delicious.

Getting Started

Getting started has been a challenge, but one I've embraced. The first Dragon Wagon is a refurbished 2001 RV camper trailer. I bought it off the Facebook marketplace with a hammer and a reckless sense of adventure. It had water damage, needed a roof, flooring replaced, wiring redone... everything redone.  It has finally come to exist and is on the road.
