    Dragon Wagon on the River!

    The Dragon Wagon is teaming up with Woodland Acres Campground (33 Woodland Acres Dr, Brownfield, ME, United States, Maine) to bring you the taste and fun of Brownfield Maine all in one place. Today we just added a new day this coming Friday! We’ll have the wagon onsite and open to the public July 21st and 22nd from 2PM to 8PM. August 11th for Lunch and Dinner, then again August 26th from 2 to 8PM!   So mark your calendars, we’ll have the usual menu, and some specials on board for sure. Come enjoy the pool, the river, camping, and all sorts of amenities.. then stop for lunch and dinner…

    Big BLT Wrap

    Dragon Wagon Chicken Wrap

    Hang on to your swords fellow adventurers!!! The new menu has a specialty item. The Dragon Wagon Chicken Wrap! Our own secret recipe of spicy, marinated, grilled, juicy, chicken with a touch of hot curry and chili finished with honey mustard. Fresh crisp romaine lettuce, onions, and never-chilled juicy tomatoes with a cool layer of sour cream – all wrapped in a big flour tortilla wrap. served up with a handful of chips, it’s the perfect food for heroes on a quest and has earned the title of the Dragon Wagon Chicken Wrap!     If you like BLTs, hang on to your socks!! This weekend (7/8/23) we’re adding the Bacon, Spinach, Tomato, Provolone – Quesadilla to the menu for the special! What is it? Thick peppery bacon off the grill, sweet baby spinach, garden fresh – never chilled tomatoes, and thick gooey provolone melted between two poofy flour tortillas, served up with cool sour cream for dipping.

    Vanilla French Toast Bites

    July 4th the town  of Fryeburg is having a parade on Maine street, and we’ll be nearby at 183 Bridgton Rd., next to Froagies from 9AM to 12 Noon serving up the day’s menu including these NEW Vanilla French toast Bites! Our mini bite toasts are buttery grilled, bathed a creamy vanilla, cinnamon-induced, farm-fresh egg batter, topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar then served up with maple syrup.     OPENING DAY for the Dragon Wagon!

    We’re set to open the window for service THIS WEEKEND!! Come check out the wagon, try out some of the best 4th of July weekend eats this side of the White Mountains! It’s been a long and challenging road, but we’ve finally done it! The construction is complete, The Select board of Fryeburg approved us, all the regulations and hoops have been cleared. The FINAL step is the health inspection this Thursday (6/29/23) and things are looking ready to roll! We’ll be opening the Window at 3:00 PM Come help us get off on the right foot, enjoy some delicious food, and go watch the fireworks at the rec. center…

    Work is Nearly Complete!

    Over the weekend of June 10th we did a soft launch with all systems go it was a great trial run and a birthday party to try out making delicious Steak & Cheese subs, with home fries and veg. All official paperwork is submitted with state and town. We need a health inspection and town select board approval for Fryeburg on June 22nd. Possibly letting go of the idea of a deep fryer for now, but we are keeping our slaw, pulled pork, and moving on to sausage subs.     Today from the test kitchen, something I’ve been thinking of adding to the menu for a while now. The Orc on a Cloud! (No hobbits were harmed making this sammich) A fluffy, yet crispy savory fried dough cloud, cool sour cream, fresh baby spinach with classic Dragon Wagon BBQ pulled pork topped with grilled caramelized onions and a dab of spicy sauce.
